Verse 1
Nothing but the rain, coming down today
Everything's the same, nothing new to say
Nothing but the rain, to wash away the fear
Everything's the same, but spring comes every year
Chorus 1
Turn and face the sun, surrender to the season
All is said and done, the rain is just a reason
To grow stronger,
The rain is just a reason to grow stronger
Verse 2
Days that only break, nights that only fall
Dreams from which you wake, feeling lost and small
Days that only break into the light of day
Dreams from which you wake, to start out on your way
Chorus 2
Turn and face the sun, surrender to the season
When all is said and done, you know the rain is just a reason
To grow stronger,
Yeah, the rain is just a reason to grow stronger
Middle 8
You build your wall of words, hide behind your scars,
You're keeping who you want to be from who you are,
And never risking love keeps you safe from pain,
Safe and cold, and all alone, with nothing but the rain.
Verse 3
Nothing but the rain, coming down today
Everything's the same, nothing new to say
There's nothing but the rain, to wash away the fear
And everything's the same, but spring comes every year
Chorus 3
Turn and face the sun, surrender to the season
When all is said and done, you know the rain is just a reason
To grow stronger,
Yeah, the rain is just a reason to grow stronger

Having been told they weren't 'pure jazz enough' by a UK radio station that shall remain nameless, Richard and Kate delight
in describing themselves as 'mongrel dogs of jazz-pop fusion and proud of it'. That half of their songs sound more like contemporary folk than either pop or jazz is neither here nor there.
DaylightSaving's sound combines elements of jazz, pop, folk and Latin.

The songs are softly sung, but pack a powerful emotional punch, such is the vocal skill demonstrated by this wonderful trio. We love Gavin's idiosyncratic guitar technique and they're all lovely folk. DaylightSaving
We love the way Picturebox can write a song about anything and we admire their DIY approach to recording & production. Fun songs and a a very positive attitude to life. Get some! DaylightSaving
