This EP contains the song 'Breathing', a song about Kate's daughter Alex and her little sister Niamh. Alex died aged 13 in 2005 of a heart condition that needn't have killed her if she'd been tested. Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) work to raise awareness and funds for screening programmes, to help save young lives. We want you to download and enjoy this track for free, but if you'd like, you could text PXNY59 £1 to 70070 to donate to CRY in Alex's memory.
You can also donate here: www.justgiving.com/Remembering-Alex
At least 12 young people die of treatable but undetected heart conditions each week, in the UK and every death is a tragedy. It's too late for Alex, but it doesn't have to be too late for all of them. Please help. x
As much as we love recording with a full band, we most often perform as an acoustic duo. This is what we sound like when there are just the two of us.
We know that lots of people prefer to have their music on CD, even if they download it, so if you decide to burn your tracks to a CD, you might like to download the printable, foldable paper CD case and lyrics insert leaflet that we made.
You can download the case and insert and instructions for folding them both on our Skydrive, here: sdrv.ms/145hgp9
More detailed instructions for folding the paper CD case can be found here: www.papercdcase.com/about.php
and more detail about the 'PocketMod' lyrics leaflet can be found here: www.pocketmod.com
